OIC website upgrade provides quicker and easier support to claimants

If you are already an OIC claimant you may notice some changes when you visit us online from this week. We have been making some upgrades to the website (not to the portal) which will help our claimants to better navigate to our support content.

What’s new?

When you now access our site on a mobile or tablet, you will see three lines in the top, right-hand corner - tap here and select 'Direct Claimant' to fast-track to making a claim or to access the Help Hub area. For those on a desktop, users will see this displayed as a new section in the top navigation of the website, next to the OIC logo.

What's more, we now have a search function which allows users to quickly find what they need -  simply tap or click the magnifying glass in the top, right-hand corner of the site and enter in what it is you are trying to find.

You might also notice that this news post is slightly different too, that’s because our news area has also had a refresh, allowing users to search the news archive for content that’s relevant to them by using the keyword drop-down menu at the top of the news area.

Lastly, the popular Help Hub area has undergone minor tweaks but is still available and a fantastic resource for claimants at all stages of their claims, 24/7.
